| **Note:** As the name suggests, the Quick Installer is a great way to quickly setup a new AP. However, it does not automagically detect the unqiue configuration of your RPi. Best results are obtained by connecting an RPi to ethernet (`eth0`) or as a WiFi client, also known as managed mode, with `wlan0`. For the latter, refer to [this FAQ](https://github.com/billz/raspap-webgui/wiki/FAQs#how-do-i-prepare-the-sd-card-to-connect-to-wifi-in-headless-mode). Please [read this](https://github.com/billz/raspap-webgui/wiki/Reporting-issues) before reporting an issue. | ||||

| ## Simultaneous AP and Wifi client | ||||
| RaspAP lets you easily create an AP with a Wifi client configuration (also known as managed mode). When configured as a WiFi client, enable the AP from the **Advanced** tab of **Configure hotspot** by sliding the **Wifi client AP mode** toggle. Save settings and start the hotspot. The managed mode AP is functional without restart. | ||||
